Just over two months ago, Mai Hương stepped into Lilforest as a shy young woman who rarely spoke, her world shaped by the gentle language of signs. At times, that silence made her feel a little apart from everyone else. Yet here, surrounded by living green and hearts that truly listen, something began to change.
Where Work Becomes Joy, and Silence Finds Its Voice
In this verdant haven, words are only one way to connect. Eyes, smiles, and hastily scribbled notes carry entire conversations. Colleagues patiently guided Hương through every delicate step—mixing moss pigments, placing flowers just so, sealing each gift with care. In mere weeks, her hands moved with quiet mastery; today, she’s among the most skillful artisans in the workshop.

“Hương is truly special—creative, refined, and incredibly attentive to detail. It took her only three days to feel at home here. Even as our newest member, the quality of her work is breathtaking” shares Trường Giang, our production manager.
From Silent Arrival to Gentle Inspiration
What began as timid steps has blossomed into quiet leadership. Now, during the workshops Lilforest holds for the disability community, Hương is the one guiding others. With endless patience and the softest smile, she teaches new friends how to craft their own moss worlds, showing them—gesture by gesture—that every careful touch matters.
For Hương, Lilforest is far more than a workplace. It is the place she belongs: a space where differences dissolve and every soul, no matter its challenges, is seen as essential to the greater story we’re growing.
A Greener Journey, a Journey of Belief
Hương’s story is one small leaf in the vast canopy Lilforest is nurturing—a vision of equal opportunity, sustainable work, and lives touched by green. Through vocational training, community workshops, and a studio filled with kindness, we believe that when love is planted, sweetness always follows.
Like Hương—a young deaf woman who found her voice not in words, but in the confident joy she now pours into every tiny, preserved forest she sends out into the world.
